Workshops and conferences are seen as a good medium to communicate scientific results to the policy-making community and to the interested public. Therefore, they constitute an especially effective means of fulfilling the academy´s goals. The Europäische Akademie presents its results and current topics every year – at conferences which deal with cross-section aspects of its work. This can include methodological questions concerning technology assessment, science and politics on the European level as well as questions about the technological process. Usually, the conferences tend to be addressed to a larger audience and are open to policy-makers and the public.
