Concepts and Models of Climate

Dr. Jörg Schulz was invited as an expert of meteorology and climate modelling. First, the concept of climate, the purpose of various definitions of climate and consequences for the understanding of climate protection were discussed. Subsequently, general possibilities and limits of climate modelling/simulation with regard to the problem of climate prediction were examined.
