Volume 25 of the series “Wissenschaftsethik und Technikfolgenbeurteilung” has been published: The volume “On the Uniqueness of Humankind” is the result of a conference the Eurpäische Akademie held in 2001 and which was titled “On the Uniqueness of Humankind – Über die Sonderstellung des Menschen”. It is concerned with the theoretical and practical concept of the “Sonderstellung” against the background of present day knowledge in biosciences.
